'The Super Sixteen' Grandmaster Rapidplay featuring the World's Elite and the Best of British

 

16 players will battle it out for a first prize of 50,000. Players will be seeded into 4 groups of 4 in a double round-robin format. The top 2 players from each group progress to the knock-out stages. Each match is best of two games played at 25 minutes + 10 seconds per move increment.

Every tickets gives you the following benefits:

 

  Admission to the London Chess Classic 2013

  Full access to the auditorium throughout the session's play. Moves will be displayed on a giant screen.

  Access to the Grandmaster commentary room from the start of play. Commentators will include: Former British
    Champions GM Julian Hodgson and GM Jonathan Rowson with IM Lawrence Trent, GM Stephen Gordon and IM
    Malcolm Pein (commentary line-up subject to change).

  Access to all other areas which include the UK's largest chess festival, tournament bookstall and chess cafe.

 

All tickets are subject to a 2.50 booking fee per ticket (does not apply to free junior tickets).

Juniors must be born on or after 01/09/1995 and be accompanied by a paying adult. Proof of age may be required.
