Play chess at the LCC Festival

The LCC Festival will give players of all standards the chance to compete in chess events. These will include:

the FIDE Open, a 9-round classical chess tournament suitable for players seeking title norms
an 9-round FIDE rated classical chess tournament for those rated under 2000
evening blitz tournaments suitable for players from relative beginners to experts
casual chess games against other visitors to the XTX Markets London Chess Classic.

Please note: the expected schedule for the FIDE Open and U2000 tournaments is as follows:

Round 1: Friday 29th November

Round 2/3: Saturday 30th November

Round 4: Sunday 1st December

Round 5: Monday 2nd December

Round 6: Tuesday 3rd December

Round 7: Wednesday 4th December or Thursday 5th December (depending on Arsenal’s home fixtures - date will be confirmed by mid-October)

Round 8: Friday 6th December

Round 9: Saturday 7th December

With the exception of Saturday 30th November, all games in the FIDE Open and U2000 tournaments will begin at 4pm.
